Prototype

Lladró needed to present ceramic prototypes to the company Loewe within a very short timeframe.
The use of binderjet technology allowed for printed and glazed ceramic pieces, as desired by the client, to be produced in 5 days, and simultaneously enabled the printing of a single piece that would traditionally require two parts with casting technology.
However, a drawback is that binderjet technology did not allow for achieving the surface delicacy and feel of the client’s usual pieces.
