Quimana Plates
Twenty white glazed ceramic plates
In this project, the most efficient approach was to hand-turn all the plates in refractory stoneware, leaving a 2 mm deep recess to anchor a printed bell tower in refractory stoneware. As these are two compatible materials, adhesion and temperature similarity did not pose any problem. The result is a solid and compact piece, the outcome of two complementary techniques.
