Bee Nest

Design and manufacturing of nests for solitary bees (Osmia cornuta) to encourage the repopulation of these insects and promote pollination.
The nest consists of a sandy-textured core with holes of the exact diameters required by these insects to build their nests. The sandy core can be infiltrated with bactericidal elements to protect the bees from certain diseases.
The casing is printed with refractory clay to protect the core from rain and other external phenomena that could damage the porous ceramic core.
