Sculpture 1

Female bust printed in porcelain and glazed on the interior in cobalt blue.
Based on a mesh, 3D scanned with significant disruptions, by artist Dimitri Danilof.
Printed in porcelain, preserving all imperfections of the scanned mesh and integrating them into the sculpture’s texture; only the face will be polished and smooth.
The interior of the white porcelain piece will be glazed with cobalt blue, which will be visible through a large opening at the back of the piece.
The main difficulty of this project lies in printing a porcelain bust, completely open at the back, without the sculpture deforming or collapsing when it reaches 1300°C.
