Cresta

20 sculpture units designed by architect Imma Jansana.
A gift piece presented by El Prat City Council to prominent figures or for very special events.
The “cresta” is printed in red clay and glazed in a bright red that resembles chrome red.
The decision to produce the series using 3D printing rather than a casting mold addresses both cost considerations and the required quantity.
Opting for printing allowed for the correction of an error midway through production, which, had it been made with molds, would have necessitated repeating all the tooling work.
